Hyperhydrosis or Sweating Stopped by Drionic®

Medically termed hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating is a social, economic and occupational handicap. The most effective control for excessive sweating is Drionic.

What is Drionic?
Drionic is the leading electronic antiperspirant - no chemicals are used. Two different models will stop sweat on the underarms, hands or feet for up to 6 week periods.

How is it used?
Drionic is applied directly to the sweating area. After several applications, the treated areas will remain dry for up to six weeks. Retreatment after this period will start another six weeks of sweat-free relief.

Is it safe?
Completely. Tens of thousands of units have been used all over the world. Clinical studies prove safety and effectiveness.

Background

After twelve years of research and development, General Medic Co. has perfected the only known means of controlling EXCESS sweat for the underarms, hands and feet for six weeks at a time! Since the treatment works on excess sweat without affecting functional sweating, the Drionic user will enjoy a normal dry condition
Battery-operated Drionic contains absolutely no active chemicals and is therefore a purer sweat control method with no body additives.

Mild currents from Drionic cause a temporary plug to develop in the sweat duct. This is exactly what the chemical antiperspirants attempt to do but fail except in the mildest sweating cases.

A series of short applications of Drionic to the underarms, hands or feet will keep them comfortably dry for six week periods. Drionic can be used over and over again and each time it will give you six weeks of dryness with no side effects.

There are two types of Drionic. One combined for hands and feet, and another for underarms.

Hand & Foot Device (sold as pair)

Hand & Foot Device

Sweaty palms greatly affect:

  • social contact: sweaty palm extended for a handshake
  • occupation performance: a secretary who smears a letter, the pianist's sweaty hands cause fingers to slip, the assembler whose sweaty palms corrode electrical contacts; professionals are dentists with sweaty hands, a nurse whose hypodermic slips from sweaty hands

The Drionic hand/foot device will eliminate the perspiration problem causing sweating hands. Smelly feet or foot odour are another social obstacle.

Shoe-trapped sweat results in:

  • Stigma of foot odour
  • Cost of replacing sweat ruined shoes

The Drionic hand/foot device will eliminate the perspiration problem causing smelly feet.

Put to the test, Drionic will perform way beyond all expectations. For example, an active tennis player who used Drionic was able to play without the racquet slipping from his hands for the first time and without apologizing for the underarm stains that stressful competition would usually cause./

Underarm Device

Heavy sweaters can get rid of socially unacceptable underarm wetness. Underarm sweat will ruin clothing of silk or wool beyond repair to where replacement is the only choice.

Electronic Drionic offers repeatable 6 week sweat relief periods. Tens of thousands of people like yourself have given up the daily battle of having to tolerate a condition that interferes with the quality of life.

Clinical Mechanism

INFORMATION ABOUT DRIONIC IONTOPHORESIS MECHANISM

Traditionally water iontophoresis has been known to offer the best sweat control for hyperhidrosis. Iontophoresis makes use of an ancient DC modality that whileeffective may cause skin damage. The skin damage was due to the polarized DC signal that delivers high levels of hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide to the skin.

The new Drionic devices now use a unique AC signal that cancels the acid and alkaline conditions at the skin thereby preventing injury and yet achieving the highest possible degree of efficacy. This new AC signal is also more tolerable, therefore allowing for higher treatment levels and increased frequency of use resulting in quicker resolution of the problem. Other safety features include shock prevention circuits as well as battery (replaceable) operation. Drionic units treat only the affected areas without sending currents through the rest of the body.

Iontophoresis works by developing plugs in sweat ducts during treatment. Six weeks inhibition follows nominal treatment. Dryness is achieved without damage to sweat gland.

Five patents describe Drionic's safety for even the most sensitive skin and long lasting effectiveness for extremely heavy sweaters.

The safety and effectiveness of Drionic has been demonstrated at five major medical centers. One such study took place at the largest facility of its kind Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. A team of U.S. Army dermatologists found Drionic effectively ".. .reduced sweating for up to six weeks Further, the study concluded that "Because of its design, it has great potential for home use."
